This painting is 9’x12’ and comes with a beautiful hand-made pine wood frame, as shown. As a smaller painting, it’s perfect for gift giving. It will arrive carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
Native to southern New Mexico and Texas, this desert plant produces dramatic cream-colored flower spikes from late winter through spring. It has a relationship with yucca moths, the specialized insects that pollinate its flowers. I often see these in gardens in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, but it wasn’t until I traveled south towards White Sands that I saw them in their native habitat and natural glory.
